Kavim Serbia is a part of Kavim Public Transportation International (2002) ltd, and its main activity is managing companies part of Kavim group in Serbia. The group is focused on providing services of public transportation. Kavim group operates in Israel and Eastern Europe, in countries such as Serbia, Hungary, Romania, Poland and Ukraine, and is consistently striving to expand its business on both established and emerging markets. Serbian economy is going through a transition period trademarked with changes in capital structure in many state or public owned companies. Kavim Group has entered the Serbian transportation market in this way by purchasing several transport companies completing this transition from public to private ownership.
 
On the 26th April 2007, Kavim Public Transportation has purchased a majority stake in Autoprevoz Čačak, one of the largest Serbian companies in the field of international, intercity and city public transportation, which currently has 288 employees and 116 buses. Autoprevoz Čačak operates in the city of Čačak, municipalities Lučani and Arandjelovac, has several international lines, but also deals with special tours in country and abroad for its own travel agency requirements, rents buses to other travel agencies and is engaged in the contracted transportation of employees of  large companies, elementary and secondary schools.
 
The next privatization was of „Jedinstvo“ from Vranje, which started in Novemeber 2007. and was completed during 2008. When it comes to the quality of the buses and service "Kavim Jedinstvo Vranje" has earned a leading position in bus transportation on the Serbian market with 292 employees,  98 buses and 650 departures per day in local, intercity and international traffic. There are also local offices in Bujanovac, Presevo, Vladicin Han and Surdulica which operate within the company. Beside the transportation business "Kavim Jedinstvo" is engaged in tourism. Travel agency network of "Kavim Jedinstvo" is composed of agencies in Belgrade, Požarevac and Vranje.
 
That same year Kavim purchased the transport company "HK  Sandžaktrans a.d. Novi Pazar", a leading regional company in public transportation on the territory of city of Novi Pazar, municipalities Sjenica and Tutin as well as other parts of the country. Activities of the company are passenger transportation in international traffic, traffic between former Yugoslavian republics, intercity lines on the territory of entire Serbia.It is connecting all major urban centers as well as local traffic in the city Novi Pazar and complete transportation within the city and Tutin municipality. Currently "Sandzaktrans" has 81 employees and 16 buses.
 
The last transportation company that has joined the Kavim family in Serbia  was “Jugoprevoz” from Raška whose name was changed to “Kavim Raška” after joining the group.  In the first part of the privatization 70% of the company was purchased and this percentage was increased to 78% in the consecutive year.The remaining part of the  mandatory investment is planned for this year.  As part of its main activities "Kavim Raška"  provides services such as intercity transportation on the territory of Serbia, local transportation on the municipal territory of Raska as well as special tours in country and abroad  for the requirements of its own travel agency and other travel agencies. "Kavim Raška" is also engaged in the transportation of elementary and secondary school pupils and employees of other large companies in the region.  "Kavim Raška" is the largest transportation company on the municipal territory of Raška with 127 employees and 38 buses at the time.
 
Ever since "Kavim group" has entered the Serbian transportation market it has been constantly competing for its place on the Serbian auto map transporting passengers from all over the country. Also, since the companies mentioned above have become the part of the "Kavim group", the management of the company is striving to provide high-quality and safe transportation for all passengers to their desired destinations with maximum comfort. In order to achieve these goals "Kavim group" is constantly working on modernization of its bus fleet, introducing new city and intercity lines and is following modern trends in public transportation so that all users would be satisfied with the offered services.
